I was just there earlier to check their EV, Toyota BZ and test drove it. I love the car and the agent (Sulaiman) who helped me was nice. They told me to fill out the form to see if I qualify for California rebate. While filling it out, they told me not to continue because I don’t qualify. I asked for the reason because I haven’t completed or submitted the form but they couldn’t tell me the reason why. The agent just said he doesn’t know. I am not sure what his manager used to see ... I asked for the reason because I haven’t completed or submitted the form but they couldn’t tell me the reason why. The agent just said he doesn’t know. I am not sure what his manager used to see if I qualify because I know the agent was just a messenger. I understand if a dealer cannot give you an offer that you can afford but I felt discriminated saying I don’t qualify with no explanation. The agent was nice and understood my situation but the higher ups are just hiding, giving instructions or info but had the nerves to say right away that I don’t qualify.
