Learn more about the tow capability of the 2022 Toyota Tacoma at Toyota of Anaheim.
The Toyota Tacoma has up to 6,800lbs of maximum towing capacity. A towing capacity of 6,800lbs is more than enough ability to tow anything you need. Anybody at the worksite will even enjoy the low-end 3,500lbs of towing power that’s produced in some of the SR5 and SR models. If the Tacoma has the standard 2.7L 4-cylinder engine or an optional 3.5L V6 engine, then its towing power will still be durable enough to get any job done.

The Tacoma has 159 horsepower, standard. With the loads of optional configurations that can be added to your Tacoma, you could pick a specific engine, cab size, drivetrain, and transmission. The standard 2.7-liter 4-cylinder engine produces 159 horsepower, and the optional 3.5L V6 produces 278hp for a more reliable ride.
The Tacoma has between a 3,915-4,550 pound curb weight. A lot of the six listed Tacoma trims have specific curb weights, but the difference between them is a bit different. The SR5 and SR models list similar curb weights that range between 3,915 and 4,495lbs. The TRD Sport trim level also tops out at 4,495lbs, while the Toyota Tacoma Limited’s heaviest curb weight is 4,500lbs.
The Toyota Tacoma has 9.4 inches of ground clearance. The ground clearance height for each Toyota Tacoma model will be the same, so you’ll have plenty of height no matter the trim. With the dimensions provided, it is simple to see why buyers love each trim level the Tacoma provides.

I was just there earlier to check their EV, Toyota BZ and test drove it. I love the car and the agent (Sulaiman) who helped me was nice. They told me to fill out the form to see if I qualify for California rebate. While filling it out, they told me not to continue because I don’t qualify. I was just there earlier to check their EV, Toyota BZ and test drove it. I love the car and the agent (Sulaiman) who helped me was nice. They told me to fill out the form to see if I qualify for California rebate. While filling it out, they told me not to continue because I don’t qualify. I asked for the reason because I haven’t completed or submitted the form but they couldn’t tell me the reason why. The agent just said he doesn’t know. I am not sure what his manager used to see if I qualify because I know the agent was just a messenger. I understand if a dealer cannot give you an offer that you can afford but I felt discriminated saying I don’t qualify with no explanation. The agent was nice and understood my situation but the higher ups are just hiding, giving instructions or info but had the nerves to say right away that I don’t qualify.
