The Toyota Highlander has a 17.9-gallon fuel tank. Your trips around the city just got way better with even fewer stops. Not only is this SUV fun to own but it’s also fuel-efficient (for a big SUV), and will allow you to cruise for miles towards the next destination without a glance. Plus thanks to its size the Highlander comes with a much bigger gas tank capacity to pair with its power to give you lots of miles to come.
The 2022 Highlander has more than 510 miles of driving range on one full tank of gas. For each model that uses front-wheel drive, they get an estimated EPA of 29mpg on the highway and 21mpg city. If drivers prefer an AWD configuration, it gets 20 city MPG, 27mpg on the highway, for 23 miles per gallon combined. The Hybrid trims obviously get higher ratings, no matter the drivetrain that’s chosen, it’ll get 35 or 36 miles per gallon city and 35mpg highway.
The 2022 Highlander uses a 295hp 3.5-liter V-6, paired with an eight-speed transmission. Buyers have a choice of using either the AWD or FWD configuration. The 2022 Highlander Hybrid uses a 2.5L four-cylinder and two electric motors that team up for a combined 243 horsepower which provides some versatility for everyone without sacrificing horsepower along the journey. The 2022 Highlander delivers without holding back with boatloads of fun.

I was just there earlier to check their EV, Toyota BZ and test drove it. I love the car and the agent (Sulaiman) who helped me was nice. They told me to fill out the form to see if I qualify for California rebate. While filling it out, they told me not to continue because I don’t qualify. I asked for the reason because I haven’t completed or submitted the form but they couldn’t tell me the reason why. The agent just said he doesn’t know. I am not sure what his manager used to see ... I understand if a dealer cannot give you an offer that you can afford but I felt discriminated saying I don’t qualify with no explanation. The agent was nice and understood my situation but the higher ups are just hiding, giving instructions or info but had the nerves to say right away that I don’t qualify.
