Why Is Changing Your Motor Oil Important?

A key component of a car is the oil. Oil is the driving force of your vehicle. It lubricates components of the engine to prevent them from grinding and keep it cool. The engine oil assists the engine in a number of ways. It helps protect the engine by keeping it clean from sludge, which defends the engine’s operation. Oil reduces wear and friction, which can also enhance the fuel economy of your car. Lastly, it lowers the heat in the engine and redistributes it to other components of the engine.

Also when using the dipstick, you can look at the engine oil texture. If the oil is smooth and a lighter color, it’s okay. But, if the oil looks sludgy and dark, then it’s best to change it.

The advisor was very helpful. Just would prefer for the service that I went in for tomorrow be done ASAP as opposed to waiting for me to approve or deny suggested additional proposed services.
